Golden Tigers Announce 2025 Cross Country Meet Schedule

TUSKEGEE, Ala. – Tuskegee University head cross country coach LaShaunda Easterling has announced the Golden Tigers' 2025 schedule, marking her third full season at the helm.

The 2025 campaign features a competitive five-meet lineup that will test both the men's and women's squads against strong regional and conference competition in preparation for the SIAC Championships.

The season begins on September 12 at the Falcon Classic, hosted by the University of Montevallo, where Tuskegee will open the year against a deep field of Gulf South Conference and regional opponents.

One week later, on September 19, the Golden Tigers will travel to Albany, Georgia, for the Willie Laster Invitational, hosted by conference rival Albany State.

Tuskegee will close out September at the Twilight at PR'ville meet in Huntsville, Alabama, on September 26, an evening race known for its fast course and competitive field.

The Golden Tigers will continue their tune-up for the postseason with a trip to Danville, Ala. on October 9 for the Warhawk Invitational, hosted by Calhoun Community College, providing a final test before championship rounds.

The 2025 season concludes with the SIAC Cross Country Championships on October 24, where Tuskegee will look to capitalize on a season of growth and strong performances.

With returning talent and a challenging slate of races, the Golden Tigers are poised to make an impact in conference competition.

The 2025 campaign promises another year of progress for Tuskegee cross country as Coach Easterling continues to elevate the program's competitive profile, following a second place finish from the women last season and a third for the men, both the highests conference finishes in program history.
