Sports Information Office
Tuskegee University’s Department of Sports Information serves as the primary liaison between TU’s student-athletes, coaches, athletic administrators, and the media.  The department is responsible for a variety of duties, including but not limited to setting up media interviews, compiling and distributing game statistics, creating, and distributing athletics publications, and updating the official website of Tuskegee University Athletics, www.goldentigersports.com. The office also helps to disseminate information with other public relation sources, such as the Office of Marketing and Communications.  The unit is responsible for maintaining and disseminating information about the University's 12 athletic teams.

Athletics Logo & Style Guide
The Tuskegee University Style Guide provides the official guidelines for use of Tuskegee athletics logos on collateral, signage, merchandise and more. As part of the overall university style guide, the Panther logo is authorized to emphasize school spirit and Panther pride. Any use of the TU mark by non-athletics university staff, external partners or vendors must be approved through the Athletic Communications Department or University Marketing & Communications.

Media Policies
The Tuskegee University Sports Information department provides game day publications and statistics for every home football and basketball contest throughout the course of the regular season.  Photo arrangements, media credentials, and broadcast questions should be made directly through our Sports Information Department.  If you are a media attendee, most game statistics will be distributed to you personally following the conclusion of each contest.

Credentials & Parking
Media credentials (and parking passes for our annual Homecoming football game) may be obtained by emailing the Department of Sports Information. Requests should be made no later than 72 hours prior to the scheduled contest. Contact the Sports Information Director for all credentials. Credentials can be picked up on game day at the Will Call window at the main stadium entry near Logan Hall. The third level of the press box at Cleve Abbott Memorial Alumni Stadium is limited to the working press, radio and TV broadcasters, professional scouts, coaches, sports information directors, the clock operator, game announcer and spotters and a limited number of statisticians. The second level of the press box contains spacious boxes for the President and the Athletic Department. Two restrooms are located on the second level. Restrooms and concession areas are located on the first level of the press box in addition to those on the east side. Accredited media personnel will be admitted to Abbott Memorial Alumni Stadium parking lot. Show your credentials and park your vehicle as directed.

Interviews
All requests for interviews with student-athletes, coaches, and administrators in our athletic department must be made through the Tuskegee University Department of Sports Information. Please feel free to contact us for assistance in arranging interviews with the coaches. Please arrange all player interviews through the Sports Information Office, allowing a day in advance if possible. We will attempt to accommodate every request, taking the players’ classroom and practice schedules into account. Head coaches and selected players will be available to the media upon request following each contest, after they have had time to handle their post-game business as provided by the Tuskegee University Coaching Staff. Coaches are also available upon request for interviews.

In-Game Services
We welcome the opportunity to work with the print and electronic media in covering Tuskegee University Athletics! We hope the information provided herein will aid in your coverage of the Golden Tigers. Programs, lineups, current statistics, season results, team rosters and game notes are provided before each home game. Team and individual statistics will be distributed at halftime. Complete team and individual statistics are available after the game.
