Your chance to become a member of the 2026-27 Cheer Team at Tuskegee is coming up, with tryouts set for Aug. 10-13. But before you ply your skills to become a cheerleader/stuntman/mascot, prospective team members must complete several tasks before earning the opportunity to compete for a spot on the team.

Prospects must complete the Application Packet and e-mail to TUCT@tuskegee.edu no later than July 6. New applicants must provide Sickle Cell Test results and all applicants must provide a physical dated no earlier than March 2026. Mascot applicants should prepare a 2-3 minute routine/skit displaying your creativity and talents (ability to engage the crowd, dance, humor, etc.). There is a non-refundable $30 application fee (payable here) that must also be submitted.
