Women’s Tennis Adds Pair to 2024 Signing Class

TUSKEGEE, Ala. __ Tuskegee tennis Head Coach Gregory Green announced the additions of two new signings to the women's tennis program on Friday.

The Golden Tigers announced the addition of a pair of high school standouts in Kialani Mills and Leiloni Payton, from Litchfield Park, Arizona and Kansas City, Missouri, respectively to the 2024-25 roster.

Kialani Mills l Litchfield Park, Ariz.
While primarily training in her home state of Arizona, Mills' tennis journey included stints at The Tennis Club Newport Beach (CA) and Mouratoglou Tennis Academy (France).  She's competed in tournaments throughout the country as well as the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. Mills is known for her involvement with the USTA as a USTA Ambassador and US Open Kid Caster. She represented the USTA in being selected to work with the late Kobe Bryant, Naomi Osaka, Venus Williams as well as interviewed many other tennis professionals such as Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, & Victoria Azarenka.

Leiloni Payton l Kansas City, Mo.
Payton arrives in Tuskegee following a successful high school career at Lincoln Prep Academy. During her prep career, Payton finished second overall in the Missouri Girls Tennis State Championships in singles as a sophomore and junior, before claiming the title last season as a senior. The incoming freshman was also ranked the No. 7 player in Missouri.
