PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. -- Tuskegee continued to reinforce why it is the dominant force in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, sweeping through the 2026 SIAC Women's Tennis Championship presented by Toyota on Friday and Saturday at the Peachtree City Tennis Center.
The top-seeded Golden Tigerettes (17-9) blasted through No. 4 Edward Waters 4-0 before dismantling No. 2 Spring Hill 4-0 en route to a third consecutive SIAC title. Tuskegee has lost just two matches during this run and completed an undefeated conference campaign without a loss. Now, TU is set to enter the NCAA Division II South Region Tournament looking to make more history.
Tuskegee did not lose a set in the championship match. The No. 1 doubles pair of
Ayawavi Vania Dotse and
Leiloni Payton won 6-3 while
Asia McRae and
Dayna Jackson added a 6-1 win at No. 3 doubles to earn TU its first point. In singles action, Payton battled past Emma Koch 6-3, 6-3 at No. 2 singles,
Taylor Ford took down Romina Kroemer 6-1, 6-3 at No. 5 singles and Jackson dispatched Italia Jones 6-2, 6-1 at No. 4 singles to clinch the title. Vania Dotse (No. 1) and
Adjowa-Sika Serena Pascaline (No. 6) were also leading when their singles matches were halted.
