TUSKEGEE, Ala. ^__ The Tuskegee University cross country programs will travel this weekend to compete in the Coach Gary Wilson Invitational, hosted by the University of West Georgia on Friday, Sept. 22. The race will be held on campus in Carrollton, Georgia.

The women's event is set to start at 5:40 p.m. ET, while the men will start at 6:15 p.m. ET.

The Golden Tigers return to competition after running at Falcon Classic on Friday, Sept. 15, which was hosted by the University of Montevallo. Sophomores Akierah Walker and Anaya Martin were the top finishers for Tuskegee on the women's side, posting time of 22:18.6 and 22:35.7 in the 5K event. Austin Stokes led the way on the men's side, recording a time of 32:31.4 in the 8K race.
