Tuskegee Cross Country wraps up season with SIAC Championships over the weekend

MACON, Ga. – The Golden Tigers concluded their 2022 cross country season after competing in the SIAC Cross country Championships presented by Cricket Wireless over the weekend, finishing ninth on the women's side and tenth on the men's.
 
Akierah Walker and Beyonce Griffin led the way on the women's side, finishing with times of 25:07.60 and 25:31.25 respectively, followed by Kamari Wilson at 26:05.68 and Rei-Ann Dean with a time 26:44.68. Three runners were outside of the 30-minute mark in M'kenzii Frazier at 31:24.31, De'Shell Carr at 36:29.68, and Hannah Williams at 36:39.81.
 
The men had four finish during in under 40 minutes, led by Diandre White and Daryl Cossey Jr. at 35:05.17 and 35:53.21, while Christian Sanders (39:13.54), Jordan Winder (39:20.49), and Karyon Reed (39:31.72) also finished under the mark. Meanwhile, Dayshawn Goodwyn finished with a time of 43:33.01.
