NEW ORLEANS, La. – Tuskegee University's indoor track and field program continued to earn regional recognition as multiple Golden Tigers were named to the 2026 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field All-Region Team, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
The All-Region honors are awarded to the top five individuals in each event within their respective regions, as well as members of the top three relay teams, recognizing the top performers across NCAA Division II.
Tuskegee saw representation across both the men's and women's teams, highlighting the program's depth and success throughout the indoor season.
On the men's side, Emilio Blackbourne earned All-Region honors in the 60 meters, finishing the indoor season among the top times in the South Region while consistently leading Tuskegee's sprint group. Brent Priester also secured All-Region recognition in the long jump, establishing himself as one of the top field event performers in the region with multiple top finishes throughout the season.
For the women, Kanijah Angel earned All-Region distinction in two events, being recognized in both the 60 meters and 200 meters. Angel's ability to excel across multiple events made her one of Tuskegee's most versatile and impactful athletes during the indoor campaign.
De'Shell Carr earned All-Region honors in the long jump, posting one of the top marks in the region and consistently competing at a high level throughout the season.
An'Janae Latchinson was also named All-Region in the 60-meter hurdles, delivering strong performances and ranking among the top competitors in the South Region.
Tuskegee's multiple All-Region selections reflect a successful indoor season that saw the Golden Tigers compete at a high level across sprint, hurdle, and field events against some of the top programs in NCAA Division II.
The recognition from the USTFCCCA caps a strong indoor campaign for Tuskegee, as the Golden Tigers now turn their attention to the outdoor season with momentum and a roster filled with regionally recognized talent.
