ATLANTA, Ga. — Tuskegee standout Monica Rose has been named the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season after delivering another dominant performance in the circle during the Golden Tigers' undefeated week.
 
Rose finished the week with a 3-0 record, leading Tuskegee's pitching staff across four appearances and four starts. The right-hander posted an impressive 0.29 ERA while throwing 24.0 innings, allowing just six hits and one earned run.
 
The Tuskegee pitcher also struck out 29 batters while issuing only eight walks, consistently keeping opposing offenses off balance and limiting scoring opportunities.
 
Rose's commanding performances helped anchor the Golden Tigers' pitching staff as Tuskegee held opponents to just eight total runs across seven games during the week. Her ability to work deep into games and control the strike zone played a key role in the team's success.
 
This marks Rose's second SIAC Pitcher of the Week honor of the season, highlighting her continued dominance in the circle and her importance to the Golden Tigers' strong start.
 
Tuskegee will look to continue its momentum as the Golden Tigers return to action later this week.
