HOOVER, Ala. — Tuskegee softball delivered a dominant performance on the opening day of the SIAC Crossover at Bill Noble Park, earning three victories on Saturday with wins over Fort Valley State, Savannah State, and Benedict.

The Golden Tigers improved their strong early-season form with scores of 8-0, 9-0, and 15-5, combining timely hitting with strong pitching throughout the day.

Tuskegee 8, Fort Valley State 0 (5 Inn.)
Tuskegee opened the crossover with a commanding shutout victory over Fort Valley State.

The Golden Tigers struck early in the first inning when
Kenya Tatum doubled to left field, driving in the first run of the game. Tuskegee continued to build its lead across multiple innings.
Â
Tatum highlighted the offensive performance with a home run to center field in the third inning, while
Kaitlyn Fletcher added a two-run homer in the fourth to extend the lead.

Tuskegee added insurance runs in the fifth and sixth innings, including an RBI double from
Daniella Simon and an RBI single from
Naturelle Miles.

In the circle,
Monica Rose delivered a dominant outing, tossing a complete-game shutout, allowing just one hit while striking out seven to secure the victory.

Tuskegee finished with eight runs on nine hits in the win.

Tuskegee 9, Savannah State 0 (6 Inn.)
Tuskegee carried its momentum into the second game of the day, defeating Savannah State in another convincing shutout.

The Golden Tigers jumped ahead early with a two-run single from Tatum in the first inning, giving Tuskegee an immediate advantage.

Tuskegee extended the lead in the second inning, capitalizing on defensive miscues and timely hitting to push the score to 3-0.

In the third inning, Fletcher launched a solo home run to right field, while Tatum added another highlight with a solo home run to center field in the fourth inning.

Tuskegee continued to apply pressure offensively, and
Taneah Gibbons delivered a three-run homer in the sixth inning, helping seal the 9-0 victory.

Rose again led the effort in the circle, pitching a two-hit shutout with eight strikeouts.

Tuskegee 15, Benedict 5 (5 Inn.)
Tuskegee capped off the day with an explosive offensive performance in a 15-5 victory over Benedict.

The Golden Tigers wasted no time getting on the board, scoring five runs in the first inning behind key hits from Gibbons, Miles, and
Rachel Ross.

Tuskegee continued to pile on runs in the second and third innings, including a two-run double from Gibbons and additional RBI hits that pushed the lead to nine runs.
Â
Benedict managed to score five runs in the later innings, but Tuskegee answered with additional runs in the fourth inning to put the game out of reach.

The Golden Tigers recorded 15 runs on 13 hits in the contest.
Jordan Garcia earned the win in the circle for Tuskegee.
