TUSKEGEE, Ala. — The Tuskegee men's tennis team faced a challenging two-match road slate over the weekend, competing against Georgia College & State University men's tennis on Friday, Feb. 6, before traveling to take on West Alabama men's tennis on Saturday, Feb. 7.

Tuskegee opened the weekend in Milledgeville at the Centennial Center Tennis Courts, falling 5-2 to Georgia College.
The Golden Tigers earned their two team points behind strong individual efforts in singles and doubles play.
Miles Wilson and his partner delivered Tuskegee's lone doubles victory at the No. 3 spot, cruising to a 6-1 win to keep the opening point within reach.
In singles competition,
Thompson Thomu picked up a hard-fought win at the top of the lineup, rallying for a three-set victory at No. 1 singles after dropping the opening set.
Emmanuel Wettey also provided a bright spot, capturing a straight-sets win at No. 5 singles to secure Tuskegee's second point of the match.
West Alabama 7, Tuskegee 0
The Golden Tigers returned to action Saturday in Livingston, Alabama, facing West Alabama at the Vaughan Tennis Complex.
Tuskegee battled across all courts but ultimately fell 7-0 against a deep and experienced UWA squad.
Several singles matches featured extended rallies and competitive games, including Thomu's three-set battle at No. 1 singles and Wilson's tight sets at the No. 6 position.

Tuskegee will return to action next week as they face Auburn Montgomery inside the AUM Tennis Complex on Friday, Feb. 13. First serve is set for 11 a.m.
