Golden Tigers Rack Up All-SIAC Outdoor Track & Field Honors

ATLANTA, Ga. – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) announced its 2025 Outdoor Track and Field All-Conference Teams on Tuesday, and Tuskegee was well-represented across both the men's and women's rosters following standout performances throughout the season.

On the men's side, Shawn Jarrett II earned First Team All-SIAC honors in the 400-meter hurdles after a record-breaking season. Jarrett dominated the event all spring, culminating with a time of 51.77 seconds, which currently ranks first in the SIAC and 13th nationally in NCAA Division II.

Jackson Murry also earned First Team honors in the pole vault and decathlon, showcasing his versatility and all-around athleticism in both field events and combined disciplines.

Drake Hudson picked up Second Team honors in the javelin throw, while Deinkepribo Harry was named Second Team All-SIAC for his efforts in the decathlon, giving the Golden Tigers a strong presence in the conference's multis and field events.

On the women's side, sophomore An'Janae Latchinson led the charge with an impressive three First Team All-SIAC selections.

She earned top honors in the 200 meters, 100-meter hurdles, and 400-meter hurdles, capping off a season in which she consistently ranked among the best sprinters and hurdlers in the conference.

Distance standout Anaya Martin also earned First Team honors in a trio of events, including the 1500 meters, 5000 meters, and 3000-meter steeplechase, further establishing herself as a dominant force in the long-distance scene.

Rounding out Tuskegee's women's honorees was Jahkaya McBurney, who claimed Second Team All-SIAC honors in the heptathlon after a season of consistent scoring across all seven events.

The All-Conference recognition reflects Tuskegee's balanced team success across sprints, hurdles, field events, and distance disciplines. The Golden Tigers continue to build momentum as they shift their focus toward the Cricket SIAC Outdoor Championships starting tomorrow and running through Thursday, in Columbia, S.C.
