Tuskegee’s Kevin Eutsey Named SIAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week

ATLANTA, Ga. __ Tuskegee men's tennis standout Kevin Eutsey has been named the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Men's Tennis Player of the Week.

Eutsey played a key role in securing Tuskegee's non-conference 7-0 victory over Rust College last week, showcasing his strength in both singles and doubles competition.

In singles play, Eutsey delivered a flawless performance in the No. 1 spot, defeating Auguste Zachary of Rust in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0.

His aggressive play and consistency allowed him to control the match from start to finish, preventing his opponent from earning a single game.

The performance set the tone for Tuskegee, helping the Golden Tigers dominate the singles portion of the match.

Eutsey continued his impressive play in doubles, teaming up with Torain Alleyne for a strong 6-2 victory over Gabe Campbell and Jahbarri Joseph at the No. 2 doubles position.

The duo displayed excellent chemistry and shot placement, overpowering their Rust College opponents with precision and speed.

With Eutsey's contributions, Tuskegee improved to 5-4 overall on the season. His ability in the lineup has been crucial for the Golden Tigers as they continue to make strides in SIAC play.

Tuskegee men's tennis will look to build on its momentum in the coming weeks as they continue their push for postseason success.
