TUSKEGEE, Ala. __ Tuskegee track and field returns to action this week to participate in the Doc Anderson Invitational hosted by Troy at the Jesse H. Colley Track/Soccer Complex on Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13.

The Golden Tigers had a solid showing last time out at the UAB Spring Invite, highlighted by a combined 23 top ten finishes and 25 new personal bests over the weekend.
Matelia Harper led the women's side in the field events, posting PRs in the hammer throw and discus, registering throws of 30-plus meters in both events. Harper finished seventh in the javelin, tenth in the discus and 11th in the hammer throw.
Meanwhile,
Caleb White also posted PRs in the hammer throw and discus on the men's side, taking fifth in the hammer and seventh in the discus throw.
Drake Hudson took sixth in the discus with a new PR, while with finishing seventh in the javelin.
On the track Friday, TU set ten new PRs between the women's and men's 100m and 400m events.
Kamri Gilbert (12.75) and
Akierah Walker were the lone PRs on the women's side in the 100m and 400m respectively, while
Justin Stith (10.99) finished eighth,
Lamont Brinson (11.03) finished tenth, along with
Jordan Webb (11.69),
Gregory Baranco (12.01), and
Jaiden Turner (12.72) all registered PRs in the 100m.
