It's last time out, TU dropped a midweek doubleheader to Alabama State (4-3, 8-0) on Feb. 21, snapping the Golden Tigers' two-game winning streak. Tuskegee fell in the first game in walk-off fashion on Wednesday, as an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth ended the contest. TU struggled to find its bats in game two, falling 8-0.

Pitching has been the story this season for Tuskegee, as they hold a team ERA of 1.71. Senior Kamya Hampton leads TU with a 5-2 record and a 1.68 WHIP while posting a 3.82 ERA and three complete games. Junior Caroline Clark has a 3.78 ERA and two complete games, while freshman Katie Harris has a 3.00 ERA in seven innings pitched.

Sophomore Kaeley Roldan leads the Golden Tigers at the plate this season with a .370 batting average, tallying 10 hits, five RBI, and three runs scored. Roldan's eight stolen bases led the team and rank fifth in the conference.

Graduate student Jada Chadwick leads TU in total bases (20), RBI (13), and doubles (5). She also holds a .324 batting average in 37 at-bats and one homer. Jessica Morales and T'yauna Rector are the other batters with double figure hits at 13 and 12 respectively, while both have scored a team-high 11 runs.

The HBCU Celebration Classic is the final regular season non-conference weekend of the season for Tuskegee, as the program will host its home opener on Monday, March 4, before starting conference play on Saturday, March 9.
