TUSKEGEE, Ala. __ Tuskegee University is proud to highlight the incredible achievements of tennis standout Eliyahu Pinkney, who continues to excel both on and off the court.

Over the weekend, Pinkney served as a guest composer for the Youth Orchestra of Greater Augusta's 2024 Fall Concert, held at the AU Maxwell Theatre.

The event, which took place on Saturday, November 18, featured an impressive lineup of musical works by iconic composers such as Bach, Bizet, Balmages, Corelli, Newbold, and Rimsky-Korsakov.

Pinkney, however, added a unique flair to the concert as a featured composer, sharing his original composition with the orchestra and audience. His piece was celebrated for its creativity and depth, showcasing his versatility and artistic vision.

Pinkney's ability to balance the demands of being a student-athlete and pursuing his passion for music highlights his dedication and drive. Known for his leadership on the Tuskegee tennis team, Pinkney brings the same level of commitment and excellence to his musical endeavors.

The Youth Orchestra of Greater Augusta, directed by Ryan Kho, Sara Lokey, and Asjah Spann, aims to inspire young musicians while fostering artistic growth and community engagement.
