Tuskegee Volleyball Falls to Spring Hill in Season Finale

MOBILE, Ala. __ Tuskegee volleyball faced a tough challenge on the road against Spring Hill, falling 3-0 (25-17, 25-14, 25-13) in a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) matchup on the road inside Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.
 
With this loss, the Golden Tigers conclude their regular season with an 11-15 overall record and 7-12 in conference play, while Spring Hill improves to 21-7 overall and 19-0 in the SIAC.
 
Tuskegee started competitively but fell behind as Spring Hill's offensive execution took over. The Badgers hit .243 in the opening set compared to Tuskegee's .068, sealing a 25-17 victory.
 
Spring Hill extended their dominance, hitting an impressive .364 while limiting Tuskegee to .091. Tuskegee struggled to side out consistently, and the Badgers secured the set 25-14.
 
Despite the Golden Tigers' efforts to regain momentum, Spring Hill closed the match decisively, hitting .195 to Tuskegee's -.077. The Badgers capitalized on attack errors to take the set 25-13 and complete the sweep.
 
Tuskegee recorded a hitting percentage of .026 with 31 assists on 116 total attack attempts. The team was led offensively by Moriah Seay, who tallied nine kills with a .125 hitting percentage, while Taylor Coleman, Ma'Kayla Jones, and Sian Sprinkle each added five kills on the day.
 
Spring Hill was more efficient, hitting .261 with 51 assists on 111 total attack attempts. Brooke Borgmeyer led the Badgers with 12 kills and a .379 hitting percentage, while Brooklyn Hall added seven kills with a .353 efficiency.
 
The Golden Tigers recorded 49 digs in the match, with libero Ziniah Hardy leading the way with 15 digs. Seay followed with 11 digs, while Mikea Allen added nine on the day.
 
Spring Hill's defense shined, accumulating 55 digs. Libero Ashlyn Whiteside led with 15 digs, while Airyonna Weaver contributed eight digs alongside her five assists.
