Tuskegee tennis rounds up postseason; men finish second, women finish in quarterfinals

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. __ After a very successful regular season for both the men's and women's tennis programs, the 2023 season has been concluded, highlighted by a second-place finish in the SIAC Championships by the men's team.
 
The men defeated No. 3 seed Benedict in the quarterfinal round of play, before losing to Spring. Hill in the championship. Josiah Blocus earned First Team All-SIAC and All-Tournament honors for his performance, while Torain Alleyne was also named All-Conference.
 
Head Coach Gregory Green also earned an individual award, being named SIAC Tennis Coach of the Year. Green led the men's Golden Tiger squad to a 10-5 overall record and an 8-2 in conference play, while also having a pair of All-SIAC performers.
 
On the women's side, the Golden Tigers were upset by Albany State in the quarterfinal round to end their postseason.
