TUSKEGEE, Ala. __ Tuskegee Volleyball dropped a pair of Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) matches on Saturday in the SIAC Mini Cluster, falling 3-1 to Savannah State and Edward Waters to wrap up the two-game day in the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center on the campus of Spring Hill College in Mobile.
Tuskegee (2-10, 1-5) was held to a .102 attack percentage in the loss to Savannah State (9-4, 6-4 SIAC), but out dug the opponent 37-31. Savannah State hit .225 as a team, out blocked Tuskegee 8.0 to 5.0, and had 15 aces on the day.
Junior Moriah Seay led the Golden Tigers with 12 kills on .348 hitting, six digs, two blocks and an ace. Meanwhile, Kayla Coleman added seven kills, two digs, an ace, and a block, and setter Mikea Allen had 16 assists, five digs, two kills and an ace in the match.
In the second game of the day, Tuskegee fell to Edward Waters by the same score, as they hit just .087 in the contest. The Golden Tigers were also out dug 61-53 and gave up 10 aces in the loss.
Seay led the way once again with a double-double, finishing with 11 kills on a .333 hit percentage, 10 digs, and two blocks. Allen also recorded a double-double, recording 14 assists and 15 digs.

Tuskegee will return to play on Monday as they travel to Huntsville, Alabama to take on NAIA opponent Oakwood University in non-conference action. First serve is set for 4 p.m. inside of the Ashby Auditorium.
