TUSKEGEE, Ala. I The Golden Tiger softball team travels to Birmingham, Alabama to take on Miles College in a three-game weekend series beginning Friday afternoon at 5 p.m. followed by a doubleheader on Saturday scheduled for 1 and 3 p.m.
Tuskegee (20-9, 13-1 SIAC) enters the contest with a seven-game win streak after sweeping Lane last weekend by scores of 9-1, 7-2, and 6-5.
Jada Chadwick (Columbus, Ga.) led the way at the plate against Lane, combining for six hits, five runs and three RBI, followed by
Dyamond Brown (McDonough, Ga.) who added four hits, three runs and an RBI.
Ayriana Stoneback (Notasulga, Ala.) picked up a pair of wins over the weekend, pitching complete games in the first and third games. The senior gave up 16 hits and six runs in 14 innings and struck out nine batters.
Kaeley Roldan (Wahiawa, Hi.) also picked up a win in the series allowing just two runs, while picking up four hits and two runs at the plate over the weekend.
The Golden Bears are on a four-game slide and have not played since a doubleheader against Spring Hill on March 26 due to weather postponing multiple series afterward.
