TUSKEGEE, Ala. | The Tuskegee University tennis teams return to action Tuesday on the road against the University of West Alabama.
The Tuskegee (1-1) women are fresh off a conference victory over Clark Atlanta to even their record this season. They are led by
Navilla Paul, who has started the year off at 2-0 in singles play with wins at number four (Montevallo) and at number five (Clark Atlanta).
Other players who picked up wins against Clark Atlanta include
Monica Thomas (singles and doubles against Clark Atlanta),
Kimberly Bowen (singles),
Aminah Wright (singles) and
Reicia North (doubles).
Meanwhile, West Alabama will be playing the first match of the season after an exhibition match against Meridian on January 30.
The Tuskegee (0-1) men will look for the first win of the season against West Alabama.
