TUSKEGEE, Ala. | The Tuskegee University men's tennis team will travel down Interstate 85 to Montgomery and face Huntingdon College in non-conference action on Monday afternoon.
Â
The match will begin at 1 pm, and will be preparation for the Golden Tigers as they gear up for the SIAC Crossover in Memphis later this week.
Â
Tuskegee (0-3) looks to end a three-match losing streak that includes a pair of conference matches to Morehouse and Stillman. They have been held without a point in all three of their matches, but have made strides in doubles play as the team of
Oshane Trail and
Brandon Sewell dropped a 9-7 decision in their last match.
Â
They have also led several singles matches before play was halted due to weather of the match being decided. Trail was leading his match against Yonwaba Pupuma of Stillman 5-3 when play was halted at number one, while
Jalen Law led his opponent from Stillman 6-2 after one set at number five.
Reggie Richardson also led his last match against Edward Symmonett of Stillman 6-1, 0-2 when play was halted at number four.
