TUSCALOOSA, Ala. | The Tuskegee University men's tennis team fell to Stillman College 6-0 in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) action Thursday afternoon.
Tuskegee (0-3) fell behind early in the match, dropping two doubles matches including at number one when
Oshane Trail and
Brandon Sewell fell 9-7; followed by
Michael Graham and
Reggie Richardson falling to Yonwaba Pupuma and Edward Symmonett of Stillman 8-2.
After Stillman went ahead 3-0 following doubles play, the Tigers needed just one win to claim the match as Tuskegee defaulted at number six. Stillman was able to claim wins at number two and number three to claim the conference win.
Tuskegee returns to action against Huntingdon College on February 22 in Montgomery.
