TUSKEGEE, Ala. | With just two games remaining on the regular season schedule, 16th-ranked Tuskegee returns home for just the second time in the last six weeks to face Central State University on Saturday afternoon.
Kickoff is scheduled for 1 pm at Cleve L. Abbott Memorial Alumni Stadium, and will be carried by the Tuskegee Sports Network and on WTLS 106.5FM/1300AM.
Prior to the contest, the Golden Tigers will honor their seniors and the game is part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, in which the athletic department is asking everyone to wear pink.
Tuskegee (7-1, 6-0 SIAC, 3-0 West) comes into the game with the highest scoring offense and best defense in the SIAC, averaging over 40 points per game in the last three contests. Meanwhile, Central State brings a defense that is allowing an averaging of just over 13 points per game in the last three – including a shutout.
The two teams are at the top of the conference in interceptions, and are near the top in the nation in that same category. They are also near the top of several other categories in the conference as they enter Saturday's matchup.
Tuskegee (1 HSRN/5 BoxtoRow/5 SBN) leads the conference in defensive touchdowns (six), yards per completion (15.90), red zone defense (.524), scoring defense (15.6), scoring offense (32.6), passing efficiency defense (86.34) and total offense (336).
Meanwhile, Central State (4-4, 4-2 SIAC, 2-2 West) is also atop the conference in interceptions (18), rushing defense (82.1), team sacks (3.75), tackles for loss (10.6) and turnovers gained (27).

Dennis Norfleet nearly became the second. Meanwhile, Central State leads the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) in rushing yards allowed per game at just 82.1 yards per game.

SERIES HISTORYThis will be just the third meeting all-time between Central State and Tuskegee, with the Golden Tigers winning both. Tuskegee traveled up north last year and came away with a 28-25 victory, while winning 41-10 in their first meeting in 2013.
