The Tuskegee University Golden Tigers will once again represent one of the most iconic brands in college football as the program is featured prominently on the 2026 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) national television schedule, highlighted by two nationally televised ESPN2 broadcasts and additional games streamed nationally on ESPN+.

The season opens on one of college football's biggest stages as Tuskegee faces the University of West Alabama in the prestigious Red Tails Classic on Saturday, Aug. 30, at Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Alabama. The nationally televised ESPN2 broadcast celebrates the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen while showcasing one of America's most historic HBCU football programs before a nationwide audience.

Just weeks later, the Golden Tigers will once again command the national spotlight when they host defending SIAC power Benedict College on Thursday, September 24, in a nationally televised Thursday Night Football matchup on ESPN2. With few games competing in the Thursday night window, Tuskegee University will enjoy exclusive national exposure as millions of viewers tune in from across the country.

In addition to its ESPN2 appearances, Tuskegee will also be featured nationally on ESPN+ during the Port City Classic, conference play, and Homecoming, giving Golden Tiger fans nationwide unprecedented access to the program throughout the season.

"Every national television appearance is an opportunity to showcase more than football," said Reginald Ruffin, Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics and Director of Athletics. "It is an opportunity to introduce millions of viewers to Tuskegee University's unmatched legacy, our exceptional student-athletes, our passionate alumni and supporters, and the transformational work taking place throughout our Athletics Department. This exposure enhances recruiting, enrollment, fundraising, and institutional visibility while reinforcing that Tuskegee University remains one of the premier brands in all of college athletics."

The national broadcasts represent another significant milestone for Tuskegee Athletics as the department continues its Renaissance Era, building upon championship success while elevating the University's national profile through strategic scheduling, media exposure, and competitive excellence.
