ABOUT TUSKEGEE (2-0, 0-0 SIAC)
Tuskegee's early-season success has been fueled by a balanced attack and steady defense.

Through two matches, the Golden Tigers are averaging 12.0 kills per set while holding their opponents to under 10 kills per set. Newly announced SIAC Newcomer of the Week Zariah Messick and Jordyn Jones have powered the offense, each with 16 kills and averaging 2.67 kills per set.

Meanwhile, this week's SIAC Defensive Player of the Week Chloe Edwards has been a force defensively with 4.5 digs per set and strong play on the back row.

Setter Mikea Allen has directed the offense with 24 assists in just six sets, providing rhythm and consistency to a lineup that has looked sharp on both ends of the floor.

ABOUT OAKWOOD (4-2, 2-1 HBCUAC)
Oakwood enters the match at 4-2 overall and 2-1 in HBCU Athletic Conference play, with wins over Talladega, Baptist University of Florida, LeMoyne-Owen, and Wilberforce.

The Ambassadors are led offensively by Kamaria Murray, who has recorded 75 kills this season (3.13 per set), while Morgan Bone has chipped in 41 kills and 16 digs.

Defensively, Arial Smith and Cameryn Bucknor anchor the back row, combining for more than 100 digs through six matches. Oakwood has also proven dangerous at the service line, averaging 2.7 aces per set, led by Arial Smith and Murray.

This matchup presents an opportunity for Tuskegee to extend its winning streak and continue building rhythm ahead of a challenging SIAC slate.

With both teams coming in playing confident volleyball, Wednesday's contest promises to be a competitive battle between two in-state programs. First serve is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. inside Oakwood's Ashby Auditorium.
