ABOUT TUSKEGEE (2-0, 1-0 SIAC)
Tuskegee enters the contest riding momentum from victories over Winston-Salem State and Central State. The Golden Tigers are averaging 27 points per game while holding opponents to just 8.5 points per outing thanks to a stingy defense and efficient special teams play.

Quarterback Raequan Beal has been steady in his second year as the starter, throwing for 376 yards and four touchdowns through two games, including a season-long 66-yard strike against Central State.

Sophomore receiver EJ Hall has emerged as a big-play threat, leading the team with 111 yards and a touchdown on just five receptions. Fellow receivers Preston Parker, Malik Thomas, and Rashad Wilson Jr. have also all contributed in the passing attack with touchdowns, while veteran back Johnny Morris has anchored the ground attack with 73 yards and the team's lone rushing score.

Defensively, Tuskegee has been dominant up front, totaling seven sacks and 17 tackles for loss in the opening two contests. Kaquan Kimber and Devon Irving Jr. have led the charge with 33 combined tackles, while the defensive line trio of Deandre Chatmon, Masiah Wells, and DeMarcus Wynn have six combined sacks on the year.

Special teams have also played a key role, with punter Callum Brent averaging 45.3 yards per punt and kicker Lorcan Ryans converting four field goals, including three from beyond 30 yards.

ABOUT JACKSON STATE (1-1, 0-0 SWAC)
Jackson State provides a significant step up in competition for the Golden Tigers. The Tigers opened their season with a 28-14 win over Hampton before falling 38-20 on the road at Southern Miss.

JSU has showcased a powerful rushing attack, averaging 248 yards per game led by Ahmad Miller, who has already racked up 214 yards and three touchdowns while averaging 10.2 yards per carry. Complementing Miller is Donerio Davenport and Emari Matthews, who combined for three scores in the first two weeks.

While JSU's passing game has yet to find the end zone, quarterback JaCobian Morgan has thrown for 278 yards, connecting primarily with Nate Rembert, the team's leading receiver with 95 yards.

On defense, Jackson State is anchored by linebacker Quincy Ivory, who has tallied 18 tackles, including five for loss and three sacks, through two games. The Tigers have forced three turnovers and recorded six sacks, holding Hampton to just 14 points in their opener before running into a strong Southern Miss offense.

For Tuskegee, the game represents both a measuring stick and an opportunity. With a 2-0 start in hand and a shutout in their last outing, the Golden Tigers hope to carry that confidence into a matchup against one of the SWAC's most high-profile programs.

A road win in Jackson would not only extend their undefeated start but also mark one of the most significant non-conference victories for the program in recent years.
