TUSKEGEE, Ala. – Tuskegee baseball returns home on Wednesday afternoon for a non-conference showdown against Point University at Washington Field.
 
First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. as the Golden Tigers look to bounce back and gain momentum ahead of the final stretch of SIAC play.
 
Tuskegee enters the matchup at 12-24 overall, holding an 8-16 mark in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) play.
 
The Golden Tigers are 9-6 at home this season and will look to lean on that home-field edge against a Point team that arrives with a 15-25 overall record and a 9-15 standing in the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC).
 
ABOUT TUSKEGEE (12-24, 8-16 SIAC)
The Golden Tigers boast an aggressive offensive approach, ranking among the SIAC leaders in stolen bases with 155 swipes in 187 attempts.
 
Ryan Morrow leads the team with a .368 batting average, 43 hits, and a team-best 33 RBIs, while also swiping 20 bases.
 
John Saffold follows with a .337 average and 31 hits, while Devon Lee (.297, 30 hits, 30 RBIs, 10 stolen bases) adds power with three home runs and a .485 slugging percentage.
 
James Slaughter has been a key spark on the base paths with a team-high 28 stolen bases, while also contributing 25 hits on the year.
