TUSKEGEE, Ala. — The Tuskegee track and field program will continue its 2025 outdoor campaign this weekend at the Doc Anderson Invitational, hosted by Troy.
Â
The two-day meet is set to take place on Friday, April 4, and Saturday, April 5, at the Jesse H. Colley Track Complex in Troy, Alabama.
Â
The Golden Tigers enter the meet riding a wave of momentum following an impressive showing at the UAB Spring Invitational last weekend in Birmingham.
Â
The team produced a host of top performances, highlighted by standout sophomore sprinter

Â
She also added a fifth-place finish in the 100-meter with a time of 12.21 seconds, continuing her strong start to the outdoor season.

Â
Danielle Wilson,
Matealia Harper, and
Serenity Mitchell led the charge in the women's throwing events, with top-20 finishes in both shot put and javelin.
Â
On the men's side, Tuskegee's depth was on full display. The 4x100 meter relay team of
LaQuenton Underwood,
Justice Northern,
Shawn Jarrett II, and
Ethan Zagore Jr. placed second with a time of 41.77 seconds.
Â
In the 4x400 meter relay, Jarrett, Northern,
Jackson Murry, and Zagore claimed third place with a time of 3:17.33, while the team of
Jamarqus Jones,

Â
Individually, Northern shined with top-10 finishes in the 400 meters (49.68) and 200 meters (21.76).
Â
Jarrett continued his success in the hurdles, securing second place in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 55.09.
Â
In the field events,
KeyWun Rowles and
Christian Sanders each tied for third in the high jump with personal bests of 1.80 meters, while
Jackson Murry finished third in the pole vault (4.30m).
Â
The Doc Anderson Invitational will serve as another important test for the Golden Tigers as they face a field of talented competitors across multiple divisions.
