TUSKEGEE, Ala. – The Tuskegee men's and women's cross country teams are set to compete in the 2025 SIAC Cross Country Championships on Thursday, Oct. 23, in Macon, Ga.
The meet, hosted by Middle Georgia State at the Georgia Premier Cross Country Course, will feature all 14 SIAC member institutions competing for conference titles and all-conference honors.
The women's 5K race is slated to begin at 9 a.m. ET, followed by the men's 8K at 10Â a.m. ET.
Tuskegee enters the championships looking to build upon a historic 2024 season that saw both programs post the best finishes in program history. The women's team earned a runner-up finish, while the men placed third overall, marking a breakthrough year for the Golden Tigers.
Throughout the 2025 campaign, both teams have shown continued improvement in pace consistency, team depth, and race strategy.
The women's squad has established itself as one of the most competitive programs in the conference, maintaining strong team averages and pack cohesion across multiple meets this fall.
The men's team has demonstrated steady progress as well, lowering their overall team time in each competition and showcasing strong finishes in large-field races.
The SIAC Championships will officially conclude the fall cross country season, with all-conference honors awarded to the top 10 individual finishers in each race.
