Tuskegee junior Edwin Kiprono won the SIAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week award for the third time in four weeks, as announced Tuesday by the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference office.

Kiprono, a junior from Eldoret, Kenya, continued his dominant start to the season by winning the Twilight at PR'ville meet in a time of 24:32.4. The finish was more than 30 seconds ahead of the rest of the field. He has won each race that he has entered and continues to put himself - and the Tuskegee program - in position to bring home championship hardware as the season continues to progress.

The next meet for Kiprono and the Golden Tigers comes on Oct. 8 when they compete in the Warhawk Invitational.
