TUSKEGEE, Ala. – Tuskegee University head football coach
Aaron James has been appointed to the NCAA Regional Advisory Committee (RAC), a distinguished group that plays a key role in the championship selection process for collegiate football programs across the nation.
The NCAA Regional Advisory Committee serves as an extension of the NCAA governing sports committees, providing recommendations and insight on the evaluation of teams within each designated region. Members are selected based on their professional experience, integrity, and leadership within collegiate athletics.
As a member of the committee, James will assist in reviewing team performance data, competitive records, strength of schedule, and other key selection criteria used to determine postseason championship participants. His appointment reflects both his respected standing among his peers and Tuskegee University's ongoing leadership within NCAA Division II athletics.
A former standout quarterback for the Golden Tigers, James is in his third season as head coach for the program. His leadership has guided the program both on and off the field, emphasizing player development, academic achievement, and community engagement.
Through his role on the NCAA Regional Advisory Committee, James will contribute to shaping the standards of competitive fairness and championship selection at the national level, further elevating Tuskegee's presence within the collegiate football landscape.
