ATLANTA, Ga. __ Coming off another strong week in the circle, Tuskegee softball ace
Kamya Hampton earned her third Southern Intercollegiate Conference Pitcher of the Week honor of the season, the league office announced Tuesday.

Hampton's week began with a shutout, pitching a complete game in the 7-0 win for Tuskegee to start the series against Kentucky State as the Pinson, Alabama, native allowed just three hits, recorded seven strikeouts, and walked just one batter in the win.

She followed that by picking up her 19th win of the year with another complete game, helping TU sweep the series with a 4-2 win. The right-hander gave up five hits and two runs, while striking out five.

On the week, the Hampton put together 14 total innings, allowing eight hits and two runs with just one earned, picking up two wins. She issued just two walks while striking out 12, held opponents to a .160 average at the plate, and a 0.50 ERA.
