TUSKEGEE – Tuskegee gets set to start Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play this weekend as they hit the road to take on Morehouse for a three-game slate at Gresham Park.

Tuskegee is coming off a 7-2 loss on the road Wednesday to Point in West Point, Georgia. The Golden Tigers scored the first run of the contest in the midweek matchup, before falling in the fifth inning as Point took control.
Five different batters combined for the five hits on the day for Tuskegee, led by sophomore
Nicholas Pratt who went 1-for-2 at the plate with a walk, run scored, and a run batted in. Freshman
Jacori McGee also drove in a run, as he finished 1-for-3 at the plate in the loss.
Another freshman in
Jabari Johnson leads the team so far offensively, hitting .333 in five games, to go with five hits, including a pair of doubles, and four RBI. Pratt has also had a productive start, hitting .286 with four hits, two runs, and three runs batted in.
Morehouse enters the weekend at 1-4 overall, with the win coming on the road against Morris College. The Maroon Tigers are currently 0-3 at home, after being swept by Kentucky State to start the season (Feb. 3-4).
