TUSKEGEE, Ala. __ Tuskegee volleyball will play their second match of the season, hosting Claflin for the 2023 home opener inside of the Daniel "Chappie" James Areana on Monday afternoon.
The Golden Tigers enter the matchup after falling to Lee in their opener on the road on Sep. 6. Seven different players earned kills in the game, led by newcomers
Moriah Seay,
Kayla Coleman,
Sian Sprinkle, and
Trinity Winningham, who all had multiple kills against the Flames.
Claflin is coming into the match at 1-1 after defeating Salem on Aug. 31 before falling to St. Andrews on Sep. 5. The Panthers are led by four players with double figure kill marks, three in assists, and six with double figure digs. They were picked to finish sixth in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) preseason poll, after finishing eighth overall last season.
