ATLANTA, Ga. ^__ The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced its track and field week four honors, released by the league office earlier this week, with Sundiata Washington being named Men's Track Athlete of the Week for the second straight week.
 
Washington had an outstanding performance for the Golden Tigers at the 2023 Alice Coachman Invitational in Albany, GA. The senior placed second in the men's high jump with a mark of 1.82 meters.

Along with it being the second time Washington has won the weekly honor, this is the fifth time a Tuskegee student-athlete has been named Track or Field athlete of the week.
 
Up next for the Golden Tigers will be the SIAC Track and Field Championships, held on Thursday April 21 to Saturday, April 23 in Rock Hill, S.C.
