The Golden Tigers will face off against Edward Waters, the top seed in the East, in the quarterfinal round on Thursday, November 9. During the regular season, Tuskegee dropped a neutral site match in four sets against Edward Waters, as the teams met in a conference mini cluster in Mobile on September 30. Tuskegee is also seeking its first win in the series history since Edward Waters joined the SIAC.

Tuskegee closed out the regular season at 9-20, its best mark since 2018 and topping last year's wins total, including winning four of the last six league games to secure the fourth seed. This is also the first time TU will play in the postseason under former standout Pamela Perkins, in her third year. Perkins (formerly Pamela Allen) played for Tuskegee from 2013-16 and appeared in the conference tournament all four years as a student-athlete.

EWU closed the regular season by obtaining their third consecutive season of 20 wins, finishing the year at 20-6 overall and 17-2 against SIAC competition. Edward Waters brings in the conference's second-best point output with 1,393 points and a 15.83 points per set average, the league's second-best hitting percentage (.219), second in assists per set (10.90), and kills per set (12.03).

Thursday's quarterfinals matchup is set for 7 p.m. ET. Fans can follow the live stats and live stream of the event from these links or from the Cricket SIAC Volleyball Championship Page.

The winner will play in the semifinals on Friday, November 10, at 1 p.m. ET, with the championship taking place Friday night.
