WILBERFORCE, Ohio __ Tuskegee Volleyball split a pair of Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) matches on Friday, the first day of the SIAC West Cluster, falling 3-1 to Lane in game one, before defeating LeMoyne-Owen 3-1 in game two, both inside the Beacom-Lewis Gymnasium.
Tuskegee (4-11, 2-8) started the day off strong with a dominant 25-12 win in set one against Lane with 10 kills on a .348 hitting percentage, before dropping three straight sets in the match. The Dragons accounted for 52 kills to 31, and out dug TU 56 to 44 in the 3-1 game.
Setter
Mikea Allen earned her fifth double-double of the season, recording 16 assists and 13 kills, while freshman
Kayla Coleman finished with a career-high ten kills along with three digs.

The Golden Tigers rebounded in the second game of the day, opening to a strong 2-0 lead (25-16, 26-24) in the match against the LeMoyne-Owen. The Magicians took the third set by a score of 25-16, before Tuskegee finished the match with a tight 25-23 win in the fourth set.
Moriah Seay led the way on offense with a 13-kill, 10-dig double-double on a .286 hit percentage, her seventh of the year. A pair of setters combined for 28 assists in the win, with Allen recording 21 assists and eight digs, followed by
Rita Nua 17 assists and 10 digs.
