Tuskegee Releases 2022-23 Tennis Schedules

TUSKEGEE, Ala. The Tuskegee University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and head tennis coach Gregory Green released the 2022-23 tennis schedules on Monday.

Both Golden Tiger programs open their 2022-23 campaign on the in Atlanta for the 21s Annual HBCU National Tennis Championships, held at the South Fulton Tennis Center September 15-18, before participating in the ITA Regional Small College Championships, hosted by Auburn-Montgomery September 23-24.
 
Tuskegee finished up their fall semester schedule with a home-and-home series against LaGrange, the first on the road on September 30, before hosting the Panthers on October 27 on the Pepsico Tennis Courts.
 
The Golden Tigers begin the spring semester with six scheduled matches in February, including Auburn-Montgomery (February 3), LaGrange (February 10), a doubleheader against Montevallo (February 11), Savannah State (February 17), and Alabama State (February 26) to close out the month.
 
Tuskegee will begin March with the first of two Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Round Ups, starting on March 3, before a midweek match against Georgia College on March 7.
 
The women's program will meet Georgia Southwestern on the next day, March 8, while both teams return to action against Valdosta State on March 9 to close out the Georgia road trip, followed by a match with Eckerd College on March 10.
 
The Golden Tigers will host consecutive home matches to close out the regular season, with the Second Tuskegee Homecoming Cluster (March 17-19) followed by a final meeting with LaGrange (March 24), before the final SIAC Round Up (March 30-April 1) to close out the season.
