Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Tuskegee opened play with a pair of losses at the Birmingham Crosplex Thursday afternoon on day one of the Southern Intercollegiate Conference (SIAC) Crossover.

The Golden Tigers fell to Claflin, 3-1 (25-17, 21-25, 25-23, 25-18).  Crystal hall led the team with seven kills, followed by Takeba Dowden (6) and Monica Thomas (5).  TU saw a pair of players finish with double digit assists in Cyrani Butler (12) and Brianna Fisher (10).  Butler also earned 10 digs on the day.

In its second game of the evening, the Golden Tigers dropped a 3-2 contest to Benedict College (25-13, 24-26, 25-20, 19-25, 15-13).
