HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | The Tuskegee University volleyball ran their winning streak to four with a 3-0 (25-14, 25-23, 25-13) victory over Oakwood University on the road late Saturday night.
Tuskegee (5-3, 3-1 SIAC) was led by
Jamiah Breda-Nixon with seven kills. She finished the night hitting .227 with 22 total attempts on Saturday night.
Pamela Allen and
Jacqueline Wilson each added five kills in the victory. Allen finished by hitting .400 on 10 total attempts, while Wilson hit .273 on 11 attampts in the victory.
Morgan Scrivens once again connected on 20-plus assists, as the reigning SIAC Setter of the Week, connected on 21 assists. She contributed to all but four of the kills from the Tigerettes on Saturday night. She also added four digs, two kills and three service aces.
Meanwhile,
Zahria Radford finished with 16 digs, while
Janae Graham ended the night with seven service aces and six digs.
Tuskegee returns to Thursday in Albany, Ga. in the SIAC Crossover. The Tigerettes will face Benedict on Thursday (11 am) and Claflin (3 pm), before playing two matches each on Friday and Saturday.
