Box Score 2 BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Tuskegee University volleyball team ran their winning streak to three with a pair of victories on Saturday at the SIAC Cluster hosted by the Crossplex.
The Tigerettes started the day with a 3-0 (25-9, 25-7, 25-4) victory over Central State (Ohio) University.
Jamiah Breda-Nixon led Tuskegee with eight kills on 16 attempts, hitting .375 for the match.
Pamela Allen added seven kills in nine attempts, hitting a game-high .778 for the match.
Donovan Wingfield added four, while
Rachael Wood and
Jacqueline Wilson had three kills each in the match.
Morgan Scrivens added 23 assists, while Allen had eight service aces.
Janae Graham scored five service aces and
Zahria Radford added three service aces, to go along with her team-high eight digs.
The Tigerettes closed out the SIAC Cluster with a 3-0 (25-6, 25-7, 25-13) victory over LeMoyne-Owen College.
Tuskegee (4-3, 3-1 SIAC) was led by Allen with 15 kills on 23 attempts, hitting .522 for the match. Breda-Nixon added 11 kills on 22 attempts, hitting .500; while Wilson added six kills on 11 attempts, hitting a team-high .545 in the victory.
Scrivens added 33 assists in the second victory of the day.
Wood and Graham each added three service aces, while Graham led the way with six digs.
Tuskegee returns to action next Saturday as they travel to Huntsville to face Oakwood (Ala.) University at 7:30 pm.
