FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. | Pamela Allen and
Jamiah Breda-Nixon each recorded seven kills Tuesday night, however, it wasn't enough as Tuskegee fell to Emmanuel 3-0 (18-25,11-25,16-25) on the road Tuesday night.
Allen, the reigning SIAC Offensive Player of the Week, finished with seven kills on 19 total attempts while hitting .211 for the match. Meanwhile, Breda-Nixon finished with seven kills on 21 total attempts while hitting .143 for the match.
Donovan Wingfield added five kills on 14 total attempts (.143 hitting percentage), while
Jacqueline Wilson finished with four kills on 19 total attempts (.158 hitting percentage).
Morgan Scrivens finished with 20 assists on the 23 kills by the Tigerettes, while
Zahria Radford finished in double digit digs with 10.
The Tigerettes finished the match hitting .108 as a team, after hitting .448 in the first set and .455 in the second set.
Emmanuel was led by Erica Burnham with eight kills, while Kylah Maxwell-Brown and Julie de Blanck each added seven. Brittany Scarbrough finished with a game-high 30 assists for Emmanuel.
Tuskegee (9-8, 7-5 SIAC) returns to conference play on Thursday when they travel to Fairfield (Ala.) to face Miles. They return home on Friday in conference action face Spring Hill College inside Chappie James Arena.
