Fort Valley – The Tuskegee Lady Golden Tigers' volleyball team traveled to Fort Valley, Georgia, to compete in the SIAC Volleyball Crossover. Claflin University and Albany State each defeated the Tuskegee 3-0. The Lady Golden Tigers lost to Clark-Atlanta 3-1, defeated Fort Valley 3-1, and lost to Benedict and Paine College 3-2.
Claflin won 25-13, 25-19 and 25-21.
Amber East had seven kills, six digs and two assists.
Tesharia Judkins had six kills and four digs.
Pamela Allen had five kills, two assists, one serving ace and one block assist.
Aarin Huffman added 12 assists, 11 digs and one kill.
Albany State won 25-20, 25-17 and 26-24. Allen dominated the Tuskegee effort with 13 kills and one solo block.
Kristal Woodard had nine kills, two digs and one solo block. Judkins had six kills and three digs.
Morgan Scrivens pitched up 14 assists, one dig and one kill.
Tuskegee fell 25-21, 29-31, 25-20 and 25-18 to Clark-Atlanta. Allen was on fire with 13 kills, one solo block and one block assist. Woodard added 10 kills, 11 digs and two aces. Scrivens had 16 assists, three digs and one ace. Huffman paced the Golden Tigers with 13 assists, three aces, two digs and one kill.
The Lady Golden Tigers defeated Fort Valley 25-21, 25-17, 25-15 and 25-21. Allen once again paced the team with 18 kills, three aces; two block assists and one dig.
Terrial Collins added eight kills and one solo block, while Juskins also had eight kills, nine digs and one ace. Scrivens also had 17 assists, one dig and one ace.
Benedict and Tuskegee went the distance with score of 25-19, 25-21, 25-19, 25-23 and 15-11. Allen recorded 18 kills, one dig and one solo block. Woodard has 15 kills and two digs. Huffman exploded with 25 assists, five digs and one ace. Scrivens had 21 assists, two digs, two aces, and one kill.
To finish the crossover, the Lady Golden Tigers dropped a tough one to Paine, 25-20, 25-13, 27-25, 25-21 and 15-13. Allen had 14 kills, three digs, two solo blocks, two block assists, two aces and two assists. Judkins added 11 kills, three digs and one block assists. Huffman added 19 assists and one dig. Scrivens chimed in 16 assists, one dig and one ace.
