In spite of nicely rebounding from their first loss of the season against Winston-Salem State in a 28-point victory at Lane College last week, the Golden Tigers were unable to crack back into either of the national Division II Top 25 polls issued by D2Football.com or the American Football Coaches Association. With that being said, Tuskegee navigated through a smorgasboard of HBCU Football Polls over the last week.
In Dr. Cavil's Mid-Major Division Football Top 10, Tuskegee climbed back to #2 in the polls after being placed third in the previous week. Tuskegee is also ranked second in the Division II Top 10 released by the
Heritage Sports Radio Network. The Sheridan Broadcasting Network
has Tuskegee ranked eighth overall, right behind South Carolina State, Prairie View A&M and Jackson State.
Rounding out the weekly HBCU Poll rankings,
the Golden Tigers are ranked seventh in the Black College Sports Page Top 10. In the latest Top 15 poll released by HBCUAthletes.com,
Tuskegee is ranked fifth. In the BoxToRow.com poll released last week, TU was ranked eighth.
