MOBILE, Ala. — Tuskegee baseball dropped all three games of a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) road series against Spring Hill this weekend at Sims-Galle Field. The Golden Tigers battled throughout the series but ultimately fell 15-2, 4-3 and 9-5 to the Badgers.

Tuskegee moved to 7-12 overall and 5-6 in SIAC play, while Spring Hill improved to 13-9 overall and 10-2 in conference action.

Spring Hill used a big middle innings surge to take control in the series opener Friday afternoon.
Â
The Badgers struck first in the second inning when Reggie Cooper stole second and later scored on a throwing error, before an RBI sacrifice fly extended the lead to 2-0.

Tuskegee answered in the third when
Collin McLain advanced on a wild pitch allowing
Jeremih Francis to score, trimming the deficit to one.
Â
Spring Hill quickly regained momentum with a five-run third inning. Andrew Juez delivered a two-run double, while Cooper continued his strong day on the bases with multiple stolen bases to help push the Badgers ahead.

The Badgers added runs in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings, highlighted by a two-run home run from John Webb, to extend the lead to double digits.

Tuskegee picked up its second run in the fourth inning when
Austin Evans grounded out to bring home
Chris Smith, but the Golden Tigers were unable to slow Spring Hill's offense.

Spring Hill finished with 14 hits, led by Cooper with three hits and three runs scored. Juez and Jaylen Jones also recorded multi-hit performances.

Tuskegee totaled four hits, with Smith recording the team's lone extra-base hit with a double.

The Golden Tigers bounced back with a strong performance in Game two but fell just short in a tightly contested matchup.

Tuskegee took control early in the third inning when
Jacobi Brooks drove in a run with a sacrifice fly, before
Ryan Morrow blasted a two-run home run to left field to give the Golden Tigers a 3-0 lead.

Spring Hill responded in the bottom half of the inning. Jaylen Jones delivered an RBI double, while Andrew Juez added a sacrifice fly to cut the lead to 3-2.

The Badgers tied the game in the fifth inning with another sacrifice fly before scoring the go-ahead run in the seventh.

With runners in scoring position, Gavin Moran lifted a sacrifice fly to center field, allowing Jones to cross the plate and give Spring Hill the 4-3 lead.

Tuskegee managed six hits in the contest, with Jasha Stevens recording a double and Morrow finishing with two RBIs on his third-inning home run.

On the mound,
Christian Baker delivered a strong outing for Tuskegee, pitching six innings and allowing four runs while striking out six.

Spring Hill completed the sweep in Saturday's finale despite a late push from Tuskegee.

The Badgers took an early lead in the third inning when Jordan Black hit a two-run home run, putting Spring Hill ahead 2-0.

Tuskegee responded in the fourth inning. Smith singled to score Morrow, and
Thavious Neal followed with an RBI triple to tie the game at 2-2.

Spring Hill regained the advantage later in the fourth inning when David King scored on a wild pitch, followed by an RBI sacrifice fly to make it 4-2.

Tuskegee briefly tied the game again in the fifth inning when Brooks delivered an RBI single and
Christopher Mayo scored, evening the score at 4-4. However, the Badgers broke the game open in the seventh inning, scoring four runs highlighted by a bases-loaded hit by pitch and an RBI walk to extend the lead.

Tuskegee rallied in the ninth inning with two runs on RBI singles from Mayo and Brooks, but the comeback attempt fell short.
Â
Brooks finished with three hits and two RBIs, while Mayo added two hits and an RBI for Tuskegee.
Â
Spring Hill collected nine hits, led by Jatnier Torres with three hits and three runs scored.
