ABOUT TUSKEGEE (0-0, 0-0 SIAC)
Under third year head coach Chiante Wester, Tuskegee enters the new season with a blend of returning contributors and a highly touted 11-player recruiting class.

TU was picked to finish second in the West Division in the SIAC Preseason Media Poll, reinforcing expectations that the program will remain one of the league's top contenders.

Tuskegee's roster reload includes a versatile class featuring size, backcourt scoring, and high-level defensive ability. The Golden Tigers add multiple junior college standouts, dynamic guards with strong shooting ability, and forwards who fit Wester's system of defensive pressure and aggressive rebounding. The new-look roster joins core returners who contributed to TU's winning culture last season.

Coach Wester emphasized that this season's group brings depth, athleticism, and a renewed competitive edge. With strong preseason training and improved offensive balance, Tuskegee aims to establish its identity early in non-conference play.

ABOUT WEST FLORIDA (2-0, 0-0 GSC)
West Florida enters at 2-0 and has displayed early poise and defensive sharpness. In the South Region Crossover, the Argonauts opened with a gritty 60-50 win over Palm Beach Atlantic before securing a 72-60 victory against Eckerd in a more up-tempo contest.

UWF showcased balanced scoring in both games, with multiple players contributing across the stat sheet. The Argonauts also demonstrated strong half-court defense, holding both opponents under their average scoring outputs while generating transition opportunities from forced turnovers.

West Florida returns key contributors from last year's roster, and the early non-conference triumphs give the Argonauts valuable game rhythm heading into their home opener against Tuskegee.
