TUSKEGEE, Ala. – Tuskegee Athletics and volleyball head coach Pamela Perkins has released the 2024 schedule on Friday afternoon.
 
The Golden Tigers' 30-match schedule will feature seven matches inside the Daniel "Chappie" James Center, including five non-conference games and two SIAC contests. All remaining match times will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
 
After a season-opening road game against Claflin, the Golden Tigers will host Stillman inside of Chappie in a non-conference home opener Sept. 3, before they compete in a tri-match hosted by LaGrange on Sept. 7 inside Richter Gym. TU will then host Claflin to finish their home-and-home series on Sept. 12, before hitting the road again to Mississippi to take on Rust College on Sept. 17.
 
The SIAC opening weekend for Tuskegee has contests scheduled against Edward Waters and Clark Atlanta on Friday, Sept. 20, followed by Benedict and Savannah State on Saturday, Sept. 21, all part of the first SIAC Crossover on the slate hosted by Albany State.
 
Following non-conference contests against Rust (Sept. 30) and at Stillman (Oct. 1), TU is set to take on Central State (Oct. 4), Kentucky State (Oct. 4), LeMoyne-Owen (Oct. 5), and Lane (Oct. 5) in Mobile at the SIAC West Cluster.
 
The Golden Tigers will also take on Allen, Albany State, and Fort Valley (Oct. 11-12) in a crossover hosted in Memphis, along with battles against Lane, Central State, Kentucky State, and LeMoyne-Owen (Oct. 25-26) to wrap up neutral site conference play on the season.
 
The Golden Tigers will conclude its non-conference schedule late in the season as their final home non-conference battle is on Tuesday, Oct. 29 against LaGrange, before a road contest against Oakwood on Tuesday, Nov. 5 wraps up the non-conference road slate.
 
The regular season will conclude with a home game against rival Miles on Saturday, Nov. 9, before the season finale on the road with a final SIAC contest at Spring Hill on Saturday, Nov. 16. For postseason play, the SIAC Volleyball Championship is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 21- Sunday, Nov. 24. Details on times and host location will be announced at a later date.
