NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Black College Football Hall of Fame (BCFHOF) has invited a pair of Tuskegee University seniors in defensive lineman Jeremy Dees and punter Ryan Duff to participate in the 2024 Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl.

Dees, a native of Evergreen, Ala. accounted for 114 total tackles in three years with Tuskegee in 32 games on the defensive line. His highest tackle season was 2022, where he finished with 53 total stops (26 solos, 27 ast), including nine tackles for loss and four sacks. In all, he was responsible for 18.5 tackles for loss, nine sacks, three forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery at TU.

Duff was a four-year starter at punter for the Golden Tigers and accounted for nearly 7,000 total yards punting (6,974) and 182 punts in his career. On average, his punts have racked 38.3 yards per kick. As a senior, the Mobile, Ala. native punted 60 times for 2,181 yards, good for a net average of 36.4 yards per punt. Duff finished the year with a long of 48 yards, 22 punts inside the 20, 16 fair catches, and four touchbacks.

The Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl will take place on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024, at Tulane University's Yulman Stadium in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The Black College Football Hall of Fame and the National Football League will also hold the HBCU Combine on February 19th at the Ochsner Sports Performance Center, which is the New Orleans Saints practice facility. The event is patterned after the NFL Combine.

Partners of the game include Allstate, the National Football League, Adidas, Coca-Cola, Coors Light, the Allstate Sugar Bowl, the New Orleans Saints, the State of Louisiana, 15 and the Mahomies Foundation, the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Zebra Technologies and Riddell, as well as NFL players Terron Armstead, Aaron Donald, Patrick Mahomes, Bobby Wagner and Jameis Winston.
