The Port City Classic Media Day set for June 4

Head football coach Aaron James and Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics Reginald Ruffin are both set to speak as part of The Port City Classic Media Day, set for June 4 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala.

The event will serve as the celebratory kickoff for the big football matchup between Tuskegee and Fort Valley State, which is slated to take place on Sept. 5 at 4 p.m. Coaches and administrators for both schools are slated to speak, as well as local dignitaries, as the teams and the community begin building toward kickoff for the annual football contest.

"Mobile is home for me and I have great memories growing up here and playing football," said James, who starred at Blount High is nearby Pritchard, Ala. "I'm excited to come back and bring Tuskegee here to create more great moments for our program, our fans and our institution."

Fans are invited to attend the event. For those who cannot attend in person, they are invited to view the Media Day press conference on The Port City Classic Facebook page. Tickets for the game are also on sale and can be purchased at www.mobileportcityclassic.com
